Emotional Content Productions Earns Taste Awards Recognition for Story-First Video Strategy
Silicon Valley, Calif. (March 12, 2026) — Emotional Content Productions (ECP), a Silicon Valley-based boutique production company led by co-founders Kimberly Ocampo‑Shah and Rajiv Shah, is recognized by the 17th Annual Taste Awards for its story-first approach to video—an approach rooted in ECP’s “emotional content” philosophy: premium, human-centered storytelling that helps brands build trust, deepen connection, and grow.
Highlights
ECP-supported work received broad recognition across the Taste Awards program, including:
Two Taste Awards wins for Turbow Farms’ YouTube Channel, developed and produced by ECP
Eight total finalist selections across three Los Altos–based clients
Four Craft Awards nominations, including:
Two nominations for Best Producer

Two Taste Awards Wins for Turbow Farms
Turbow Farms’ YouTube Channel—developed and produced by ECP—earned two awards for its story-driven food and lifestyle programming:
Best Instructional Web Series — Turbow Farms YouTube Channel — Winner
Best Filmed at Home Episodes or Film (The Ale Gambini Award) — Turbow Farms YouTube Channel — Winner
The 2026 recognition marks ECP’s second year participating in the Taste Awards. In 2025, Turbow Farms and Emotional Content Productions contributed to the Taste Awards win for California Bountiful in the Best Green/Organic Series category. In 2026, Turbow Farms’ YouTube Channel earned two wins.
The Taste Awards recognize standout creators and programming across food, travel, health, lifestyle, and related categories. Turbow Farms’ two wins place the Los Altos brand among an international field of finalists and honorees and reflect growing demand for content that educates while remaining personal, entertaining, and emotionally resonant
Statement from ECP
“Today, audiences don’t just want information — they want to feel something,” said Kimberly Ocampo‑Shah, co-founder of Emotional Content Productions. “Our work across Los Altos and Silicon Valley is built on emotional content: story-led video that is warm, honest, and personality-forward—designed to educate, delight, and keep viewers coming back.”
Story-First Strategy in Practice
ECP partnered with Turbow Farms to develop a consistent, audience-first content strategy—from concept development and story structure to filming and post-production—designed to elevate Charmaine Turbow’s voice while keeping the content grounded in real moments.
Over time, the teams identified that Charmaine’s educational focus—ranging from flower farming in the local climate to practical, approachable how-to guidance—would be best served through YouTube and long-form storytelling, where the content could be developed with the depth and pacing it warrants.
On YouTube, Turbow Farms offers viewers a “taste” of the educational experience guests would typically receive on-site during workshops or farm tours, with features including dahlia tours, bearded irises, ranunculus, breadseed poppies, heirloom chrysanthemums, and peonies. Through the Turbow Farms Flower Studio, viewers can also follow step-by-step arrangement tutorials.
